Fund II Foundation, founded in 2014, is a Washington, DC-based nonprofit that makes grants to public charities. It operates in the philanthropic fundraising space, directing resources to a broad range of causes. To date, it has awarded more than $260 million in grants to organizations across sectors. In 2019, it launched internXL, a platform designed to connect diverse internship candidates with opportunities at U.S. companies. The foundation's grantmaking is organized around five pillars: preserving African-American historical culture, safeguarding human dignity and human rights, environmental conservation with outdoor education, music education in schools, and fostering entrepreneurship, empowerment, innovation, and security.
