The Future of Privacy Forum (FPF) is a non-profit organization based in Washington, D.C., with 51-200 employees. It promotes privacy leadership and scholarship and aims to advance principled data practices for emerging technologies. The organization operates in the privacy, data protection, AI and digital governance space, engaging in policy, research and outreach activities. In January 2026, FPF announced the winners of its 16th Privacy Papers for Policymakers Awards, and released an updated Issue Brief on Vietnam's data protection laws. It has pursued international collaborations, including a fall 2024 series of expert panel discussions in Australia conducted with AARNet and ASPI addressing privacy, security and online safety for young people.
