Gaeta began in 1973. That first roll-off truck slowly grew into a small fleet and in 1985 Gaeta's transfer station was established at 25 Van Street in Staten Island, NY. But it wasn't until 1990 that Gaeta became involved in the sanitation business, a decision that nearly doubled the size of the fleet overnight. At the same time, demolition was expanding, and Gaeta slowly progressed from light to heavy demolition, most notably within the last ten years. Today, Gaeta has become one of the premier carting companies in New York priding itself on our friendly customer service and reliability. it has now grown into a full service company with close to ninety employees and just under thirty trucks. We are union affiliated and all our demolition workers are OSHA compliant. Unlike other companies, we run our sanitation department 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. We service all 5 boroughs of New York as well as New Jersey, and our transfer station is open to the public 6 days a week. We are a fully licensed and insured company.
