GALA Hispanic Theatre is a Washington, DC-based organization established in 1976 as a National Center for Latino Performing Arts. It promotes and shares Latino arts and cultures with a diverse audience, creating works that engage contemporary communities and preserve Hispanic heritage for future generations. Through developing and producing works across the breadth of Latino performing arts, it provides opportunities for Latino artists, educates youth, and engages the wider community in an exchange of ideas.
