Galveston Arts Center (GAC) promotes and supports contemporary visual art through exhibitions and educational programming. Focusing on emerging and established regional artists in a variety of disciplines, the Galveston Arts Center also hosts its Galveston ArtWalk approximately every six to eight weeks on Saturday nights in the heart of the historic district. One of Galveston Arts Center’s largest events, ArtWalk attracts up to 3,000 visitors per evening.
