GAMA is a Turkish industrial machinery manufacturing and engineering group based in Ankara. Founded in 1959, it acts as an international contractor providing engineering, procurement, and construction services for power plants, refineries, cement and petrochemical facilities, gas plants, high-rise buildings, water treatment plants, transmission lines, bridges, and other infrastructure projects along with funding energy investments. The group has completed more than 400 projects in over 25 countries, with assignments spanning from Ireland to Russia’s Sakhalin Island. GAMA operates through specialized units including GAMA Enerji A.Ş. (power and water infrastructure in Turkey and the region, owning plants with a total of 1,100 MW electricity capacity and 100 million m3/year water conveyance), GAMA Power Systems (EPC packages for power plants), GAMA Industrial (turnkey construction of thermal power plants, refineries, hydroelectric plants, petrochemical and chemical plants, cement factories and pipelines, as well as high-rise buildings and infrastructure), and GAMA Trading and Tourism (sales and after-sales services of construction equipment and international trade of industrial materials). The company employs between 1,001 and 5,000 people and maintains a broad footprint in Turkey and internationally.
