Gangavaram Port Limited operates a deep-draft, all-weather multipurpose port in India. The facility features water depths of up to 21 meters, enabling the handling of fully laden Super Cape-size vessels of up to 200,000 DWT, and supports a wide range of bulk and break-bulk cargo such as coal, iron ore, fertilisers, limestone, bauxite, raw sugar, project cargo, alumina, and steel products. Its cargo handling facilities and material handling systems are described as among the most advanced in Asia, with a focus on pollution prevention and safety. Headquartered in Hyderabad, Telangana, the company serves a hinterland spanning eight states and acts as a gateway port for moving goods to and from eastern, western, southern, and central India. The port's concession was awarded in 2003 to a DVS Raju-led consortium, with construction beginning in 2005 and trial operations in 2008 before commercial operations began in 2009. In December 2023, Gangavaram Port Limited acquired Krishnapatnam Port Co. Ltd.
