Garage Technology Ventures was a breakthrough seed and early-stage venture capital fund, funded by Sequoia, Mayfield, Draper Fisher Jurvetson, Silicon Valley Bank, and several other tier one investors. We were originally designed to be the "farm team" for Sand Hill Road, finding and funding brilliant startups from around the world. We wound up being the first accelerator in Silicon Valley, with over 100,000 applications in our first three years. Our success rate is unsurpassed to this day, with over 90% of our companies raising Series A capital. We were also the first venture capital firm to launch an educational conference series for entrepreneurs, originally called "Bootcamp for Startups," and then later "The Art of the Start." In partnership with Silicon Valley Forum and Microsoft, we created "Launch: Silicon Valley" and "World Cup for Startups." After working with Pegasus Tech Ventures on "Startup World Cup" and the Pegasus global Venture Capital as a Service platform, we decided to merge with Pegasus, which is a global venture capital firm with over $2 billion in assets under management which now has investments in many of the leading deep tech companies, including SpaceX, OpenAI, Anthropic, Axiom Space, Xanadu, xAI, Atom Computing, and many others. Garage is now owned by Pegasus Tech Ventures.
