The Garden Of Peace Project is a community of LGBTQIA (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, transsexual, queer, questioning, intersex, invisible minorities, asexual, and allies) folks committed to encouraging community-building, -restoration and outreach, spiritual growth, increased self-awareness, conscious mindfulness, social justice, and informed research.The Garden Of Peace Project outreaches to the human spirit and meets folks where they are without judgement. The Garden Of Peace Project empowers folks through the stages of change and provides access to the available resources to accomplish one's self-determined goals. The Garden Of Peace Project encourages the transformation of one's power and privilege into agency for attaining, and eventual maintenance, of true social justice, humanity, and an individuals chosen quality of life. Why the word "Project"? The word project means "an undertaking requiring concerted effort". The Garden Of Peace Project will be a community effort and will be in and of the community, all aspects of the community. The foundation of the Garden of Peace Project is the community building, restoration, and outreach, which requires a "team" effort, and will explore the intersections of race, gender, sex, age, and religion.
