The Gardena Valley Japanese Cultural Institute (GVJCI) is a small, long‑standing nonprofit in Gardena, California, that acts as a community center serving the South Bay. For more than seven decades it has offered a range of classes, services, and programs for seniors, adults, and youth, with a focus on educational, cultural, and social activities that preserve Japanese and Japanese American heritage.
