Gaston Day School is a nonsectarian, college-preparatory day school serving Preschool through 12th grade in Gastonia, North Carolina, founded in 1967. It enrolls about 500 students and relies on a sizable faculty and staff to deliver a broad, college-focused program. The school draws students from five counties—Gaston, Mecklenburg, Lincoln, Cleveland, and York—and is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools; it is a member of several independent-school associations and approved by the North Carolina Department of Education.
