Gateway Center is a mid-sized nonprofit based in Atlanta that helps people experiencing homelessness by connecting them with the services they need to achieve self-sufficiency and secure a permanent home. Since 2005, it has operated as a central access point for homeless individuals in metro Atlanta and serves as an advocate for policy changes and greater equality. The organization organizes its work around five core areas: housing placement and stability, health and wellness, family and community engagement, job skills training and placement, and literacy. 

Its services target disadvantaged individuals and families across the Atlanta region, addressing barriers in housing, health, education and employment. In 2023, Gateway Center announced the appointment of Maria Wolfe to a leadership role, reflecting ongoing efforts to adapt staffing to community needs.
