Strategic Expansion Gearstar shifted production from Reno, NV to Akron, OH and acquired Yank Performance Converters in 2022, indicating a geographic and capability expansion that suggests potential cross-sell of upgraded transmissions and converter solutions to a broader Midwest market.

Premium Niche As a leading provider of premium, custom-built high-performance transmissions and torque converters, there is a strong opportunity to upsell to high-end automotive brands, race teams, and performance shops seeking bespoke driveline solutions.

MOPAR NAG1 Focus The introduction of the MOPAR NAG1 transmission performance rebuild kit signals openness to performance-focused, brand-specific offerings—a cue to target Mopar enthusiasts and rebuild shops with compatible platforms.

Digital Engagement Active use of Google Ads, CRM and marketing tools (ActiveCampaign, Klaviyo) coupled with eCommerce (WooCommerce) suggests the sales team can leverage retargeting, email nurture, and online configurators to convert inquiries into orders for premium builds.

Financial Scale With revenue in the low/mid single digits and a lean team, there is room to scale through channel partnerships, strategic distributors, and performance shops, focusing on higher-margin, custom builds and repeat business.
