Gekko Systems is a global leader in mineral processing solutions with a particular focus in gravity separation, intensive leaching and pre-concentration. The company was established in 1996 by co-founders Elizabeth Lewis-Gray (managing director) and Sandy Gray (inventor, thought leader, Clunies Ross award winner and multiple #AusIMM award winner) and is still privately held. In addition to our proprietary products, Gekko specialises in the design, manufacturing and installation of modular low-height plants as well as optimisation of systems by delivering low-energy flowsheets. With offices in Australia, Canada, Russia and South Africa and agents in Latin America and West Africa, Gekko has successful manufactured and installed over 600 units across 43 countries worldwide to recover sulfides, free gold, native copper, silver and gems. The Gekko team is passionate about producing products and services that achieve maximum efficiencies for its clients around the globe and we believe that being “smarter together” through collaboration with clients, suppliers, communities and other stakeholders is critical for the industry’S future. The owners (including Dale Elphinstone AO) are dedicated to delivering proven cutting edge solutions to our clients and about creating value for industry and meaningful jobs for our talented staff. Our mission is to employ passionate people with a purpose of creating smart solutions that transform mining and the environment. We deliver this mission through a focus on energy efficiency, collaborative technological and service solutions, understanding ore liberation characteristics and mineralogy, and modular solutions for mining. More recently we have taken core competencies such as materials handling, modular design, and product commercialisation to work with CSIRO and Curtin University to launch some of their digital technologies as well as our own waste to energy product - the Gaia biodigester - watch this space!
