Since 1954 we continue to build simple, yet reliable vertical flow packaging machinery and systems for companies located throughout the world.  Our machinery has an earned reputation for long term dependability running 1, 2, or 3 shifts year after year.  They are engineered for decades of efficient production and minimum down time resulting in increased per bag profit while lowering total cost of mechanical ownership.

General offers 3 model types;

Reciprocating Draw Bar.  These are built exceptionally rugged, decidedly simple to operate and maintain.  Bag styles: pillow, gusset, 3 and 4 side seal.

Primus Series - vacuum belt driven.  Like the Draw Bar, these will provide the same benefits producing pillow and square bottom bag styles.

Model 48.  Combination of the Draw Bar and Primus.  Bag styles include pillow, gusset, 3 side seal, square bottom & gusset.  We typically, but not exclusively, suggest the Model 48 when we apply fitments (pumps, closures, valves) to the film.

Products packaged on either models range from various dry goods (powders, particulates, coffee, etc.) to liquids of varying viscosity.  Food or chemical - we continue to offer economical bag solutions.

Films.  Experienced with varying Lamination's, Poly, and PVA structures

We have a large parts inventory with overnight shipping available.  We also offer machine evaluations to determine appropriate investment when considering refurbishing or updating older machines to purchasing new.  Unlike other manufacturers, we continue to support all generations of our machinery.

General products are Engineered, Manufactured and Assembled in Houston, TX.  Service and Parts are also located here providing a timely domestic response to your needs.
