Leveraging Photonics, Genetoo has developed a prototype able to reduce by up to 90% the adhesion of pathogenic bacteria within prosthetic implants, without the need for antibiotics. Genetoo is actively working to offer to the healthcare system, and ultimately to patients, a new class of materials able to prevent the development of bacterial infections. Genetoo core technology has been licensed from the National Aeronautics and Space Administration. Genetoo also has an active collaboration with the NASA Space Technology Mission Directorate, through an executed Space Act Agreement.
