Genuine Pizza is the brainchild of James Beard Award-winning Executive Chef, Michael Schwartz.   Schwartz is the face of the South Florida restaurant industry and a nationally recognized celebrity chef.  Genuine Pizza was formerly known as Harry's Pizzeria.  There are four locations in Miami (1 Genuine Pizza and 3 Harry's Pizzerias).  Plans are in place to open 15 restaurants over the next four years in Atlanta, South Florida and other regions.

The restaurant is about pizzas featuring fresh, chef-curated toppings and a tender, quick-fired crust, like Braised Short Rib named one of America’s Best Pizzas by The Daily Meal. Genuine Pizza is recognized for so much more than its delicious pizza, delivering warm service and a wholesome menu to make a meal, including snacks, colorful salads like Miami Herald’s pick for dish of the year in Warm Brussels Sprouts & Stracciatella, entrées and dessert. 
From the sidewalk to the dining room, the restaurant buzzes with friends and family hanging out over craft beer, a creative wine list and great music.
