As a sandwich generation kid himself (caring for both children and aging parents), Steve (Stephen M.) He concentrates his practice in all areas of estate planning including wills, trusts, probate, special needs planning and guardianship, and adoption. Steve is a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys (NAELA), ElderCounsel, WealthCounsel, the Cobb County Bar Association Elder and Disability Law Section, and the State Bar of Georgia Elder and Fiduciary Law Sections. As an attorney, Steve has been distinguished by Atlanta Magazine and Super Lawyers as a Super Lawyer; he has also received the prestigious AV Preeminent ranking by Martindale-Hubbell for over 15 years; and he has received a 10 out 10 rating by AVVO. Steve is an Atlanta native and has lived in Cobb County all of his life. He graduated with honors from the University of Georgia School of Law in 1983. He practiced in the Buckhead area of Atlanta from 1983 until 1995, when he opened his own practice in his hometown suburb in Marietta, near the Square. He moved his office to East Cobb in 2016. He is married and is a dad to three children. He is involved in his community in local business groups, including Kiwanis Club of Mountain View Professionals, and local theater and arts organizations, including CenterStage North Theater, and he serves on the Board of Directors of CCAI Adoption Services.
