Georgia Hotel & Lodging Association (GHLA) functions as a nonpartisan trade association for the lodging sector in Georgia, representing hotels, motels, resorts, and other lodging properties. Founded in 1907, it advocates on behalf of its members and promotes the industry to foster favorable business conditions. As the official state affiliate of the American Hotel & Lodging Association, GHLA combines local perspective with national resources.

Its membership spans national brands to independent properties, collectively overseeing more than 168,000 hotel rooms that welcome about 48 million visitors annually. The Georgia lodging industry employs more than 56,700 workers across 2,298 properties and supports a tourism economy estimated at about $82 billion, sustaining almost 10% of statewide jobs.
