Georgia Legal Services Program is a nonprofit law organization that provides free, high-quality civil legal services to low-income residents of Georgia outside the Atlanta metro area. Based in Atlanta, it operates a network of offices across Albany, Athens, Augusta, Brunswick, Columbus, Dalton, Gainesville, Macon, Savannah and Atlanta to serve communities in the Piedmont region. Its practice areas cover economic and community development, education, family law and family violence, farmworker rights, health care, housing, public benefits, elder rights, emergency disaster assistance, and involvement with the State Bar's pro bono project. GLSP functions within the legal services sector as a mid-sized nonprofit dedicated to expanding access to justice for low-income Georgians. In 2024, the organization partnered with DeVetter Law Firm to provide intake and guidance for more complex cases that require court involvement.
