Gerber Ambulance Service has provided quality patient care and transportation in Southern California for over twenty years. Our goal from the very beginning has been to provide excellent care while providing for the needs of the community. We accomplish this with progressive care and equipment, economical services, personal dignity and universal respect.

Founded in 1988, Gerber Ambulance Service began when three medical professionals felt there was room to take patient transportation and patient care to a much higher level. These owner/operators began providing personalized BLS and CCT services with three ambulances. Today, with over 200 employees and an all-modular ambulance fleet, Gerber holds contracts with most major insurance companies and provides patient care and transportation for many of Southern California’s most reputable hospitals and organizations. Through training and education, Gerber Ambulance is also proud to boast one of the lowest loss histories in the nation.
