GERMAN NAVAL YARDS specialises in the design and construction of large naval vessels such as frigates, corvettes and offshore patrol vesels. GERMAN NAVAL YARDS can look back on over 185 years of experience in shipbuilding. Originating from the former surface shipbuilding of Howaldtswerke-Deutsche Werft (HDW), the Kiel shipyard is part of the international shipyard group CMN NAVAL and thus continues the long shipbuilding tradition on the Kiel Fjord. The efficient infrastructure also includes the largest dry dock in the Baltic region (426 metres long) and a 900-tonne gantry crane.
