Geva Theatre Center is a nonprofit professional theatre company based in downtown Rochester, New York. It operates two stages—the 517-seat Wilson Stage and the 180-seat Fielding Stage—featuring a repertoire that spans drama, comedy and musical theatre, including world premieres. The organization serves about 160,000 patrons annually, with more than 20,000 of them being students, and runs extensive educational, outreach and literary programming. Geva was founded in 1972 by William Selden and Cynthia Mason Selden, and established its current home in 1985 after purchasing the former Naval Armory. It is a member of the League of Resident Theatres (LORT).
