Giggleswick School is one of the leading independent co-educational day and boarding schools for children aged 2 to 18. Founded in 1512 and rated excellent by ISI in 2023. Situated in 215 acres in the stunning Yorkshire Dales, Giggleswick has always had an intangible spirit.

Our school is focused on hard work. Pupils roll their sleeves up and get stuck in, 'throwing themselves in' to all aspects of school life - academics, enrichment and co-curricular activities alike.

As well as day school, we offer full and flexi boarding options (from Year 4) and a six-day school timetable from Year 7, making us an ideal choice for boarders.

Our Prep School is on the same campus as our Senior School, and so benefits from a wide range of facilities and resources, not least our professional standard Richard Whiteley Theatre.
