We help faculty replace costly textbooks with excellent materials assembled in Ginkgotree, to make course materials less expensive (and more valuable!) for students.

Ginkgotree was founded in January 2012 when three friends—Scott, Andrew, Lida—came together after college and developed an idea: a platform for teachers and learners around the world. Each had been frustrated with the cost and presentation of course materials, and they decided it was time those materials evolved into something more accessible and interactive. 

They came from different backgrounds and were skilled in different ways, but together they knew just enough about business, software development, and communication to start— they’re learning the rest along the way.

Since then, we've gained phenomenal people, killer office space, awesome new technology, and tons of educational resources in order to bring you the platform you’ve come to know and love as Ginkgotree.
