The Girl Scouts of Central and Western Massachusetts (GSCWM) is a regional nonprofit focused on youth development through the Girl Scout Leadership Model, serving more than 5,000 girls and over 3,000 adult members across central and western Massachusetts. The organization maintains offices in Holyoke and Worcester, and its programs serve Berkshire, Franklin, Hampden, Hampshire, Worcester counties and part of Middlesex. Its programs are available to girls in grades K-12, with adults 18 and older able to participate as volunteers; the aim is to develop courage, confidence and character. In 2026, GSCWM formed a partnership with Cornerstone Bank to deliver a year-long, hands-on financial literacy program for girls across the region. The organization operates within the nonprofit sector, supporting youth leadership development and community involvement in the area it serves.
