Its administrative headquarters and volunteer service center are located in Mableton, Georgia, with service centers in Cumming, Dalton, and Griffin. Founded in 1912 by Juliette Gordon Low, it is the largest organization dedicated solely to girls in the United States; in 2024, Jai Ferrell was appointed chief executive officer.
