Girl Scouts of North East Ohio (GSNEO) is a regional council of the Girl Scouts of the USA and operates as a nonprofit organization based in Macedonia, Ohio. It serves a broad Northeast Ohio region, delivering the Girl Scout program to about 19,000 girls in grades K-12 and engaging roughly 9,000 adult members across 18 counties, including Ashtabula, Cuyahoga, Lake, Lorain, Summit, and Trumbull. The organization emphasizes a positive, inclusive, and girl-led environment and relies on a structured leadership development program to help girls explore interests and build capabilities. Membership is open to girls in grades K-12 and to adults 18 and older who accept the Girl Scout Promise and Law, regardless of race, creed, or socio-economic status. As a council within the GSUSA framework, GSNEO supports community engagement and youth development across its Northeast Ohio service area. In 2025, GSNEO participated in its Women of Distinction Awards, an annual event recognizing notable women, organizations, and Girl Scouts in the region.
