Give Kids A Smile is a charitable initiative established in 2000 by community-oriented professionals in the St. Louis area to address the dental care needs of local children. With extensive volunteer involvement and support from schools, organizations, corporations, and individuals, it has provided comprehensive dental care to children since the program's first clinic in February 2002, conducting clinics twice a year. 

Clinics take place at the Center for Advanced Dental Education at St. Louis University and include full dental treatment along with home hygiene materials, educational resources, meals, and a circus-like setting designed to engage young patients. The American Dental Association adopted the GKAS concept and established a national clinic day each February, expanding the reach of services beyond St. Louis. Based in Cottleville, Missouri, GKAS is described as a leader in developing and implementing access to healthcare services for children and continues to pursue new delivery methods to meet their needs.
