Giving Compass is a Seattle-based nonprofit that serves as a platform for individual donors to learn about issues, engage with causes, and give to organizations. It emphasizes equity, effectiveness, transparency, and systems change, connecting donors to learning content, resources, and tools to support more impactful giving. The organization was inspired by Jeff and Tricia Raikes of the Raikes Foundation and was created to address the difficulty of finding targeted resources for strategic giving, in collaboration with leading philanthropic groups. With 11-50 employees, Giving Compass operates in the nonprofit sector and maintains its website at givingcompass.org. Recent activity includes launches and partnerships such as Giving Compass Pro, a partnership with Ren to improve donor-advised fund data access, and collaborations with Charity Navigator to build an intelligent nonprofit search experience. The platform uses technologies such as Next.js and React in its stack, and its team is based in Seattle.
