Behind gandlclothing.com is a real clothing store with a staff of real people. Established in 1917, G&L Clothing has been an institution of downtown Des Moines, Iowa for nearly a century. An online presence first emerged in 1999 and then with the launch of our eCommerce store, gandlclothing.com in 2005. Whether in-store or online, G&L Clothing serves working men and women throughout Iowa and the world with work, casual and dress clothing from brands like Carhartt, Dickies, Levi's®, Wrangler, Savane and more. Our sizing selection is hard to beat with bottoms ranging from 26 to 80 inch waist and tops from Small to 10XL and 5XL Tall. We also stock a variety of work boots in our footwear department including safety-toe, met-guard, slip-resistant, insulated, rubber, casual, and athletic styles; with a large range of boot and shoe sizes. Our shoe brands include LaCrosse, Carolina, Keen  New Balance, Merrell, Timberland Pro, and more. Along with our individual customers, G&L Clothing also supplies companies all over the USA with uniforms, outdoor clothing, flame-resistant clothing, safety clothing and boots. Our Commercial Uniform Service also offers personalized garments with embroidery or screen printing available.
