Gladstone Investment Corporation (Nasdaq: GAIN) is the private equity fund managed by The Gladstone Companies, a family of investment funds headquartered in McLean, VA. Gladstone Investment Corporation (“GAIN”) invests in lower middle-market business services, consumer, and industrial companies. We facilitate buyouts and recapitalizations that provide liquidity to sellers and, if desired, we allow for continued ownership through rollover investment and incentive equity pools.

Total investments are comprised of both debt and equity, which ensures both speed and certainty of closing (no financing contingencies) and fully aligned interests post-close as we are the primary investor. For transactions of larger sizes, we have a strong network of co-investors that we have successfully partnered with on numerous occasions. 

The Gladstone Companies also manages three additional funds. Each fund is a separate entity and led by dedicated teams of investment professionals: 
Gladstone Capital Corporation (Nasdaq: GLAD) is a direct lending fund.
