Glasgow Prestwick Airport offers the full range of aviation services including:

The airport is open all year round 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and operates at Fire Category 7 with upgrades on request.

We have two runways. Our main runway is 2,986 meters in length – making it the longest commercial runway north of Manchester. 

The airport is located approximately 30 miles south west of Glasgow -  Scotland's largest city. 

It boasts excellent transport connections including its own railway link and easy access to the wider motorway network.  

The airport directly employs more than 250 staff and together with companies based in and around the airport we support more than 4,500 jobs. The airport currently contributes £61.6 million to the Scottish economy. 

Glasgow Prestwick Airport is working with partners to create an aerospace hub in Ayrshire for businesses involved in the aviation and space industry. 

The airport is working towards becoming one of Europe’s first spaceports. If successful this could lead to the creation of 2,000 additional jobs and generate a further £320 million for the UK economy.
