Our distinctive commitment lies in ensuring an enriching experience for all stakeholders, including students, host families, and high schools, fostering success academically, physically, emotionally, and intellectually within a U.S. F-1 Private Day or Boarding School setting. Our unique approach guarantees a tailored placement, meticulously matching students with the right school environment for their individual success. Central to our methodology is a dedication to personalized consultations, involving thorough discussions with natural parents to discern the most suitable program for each student's academic year or semester. To foster a comprehensive understanding, we conduct intimate, in-home interviews with prospective international students and their parents. Similarly, host families undergo thorough in-home interviews, ensuring a secure and nurturing environment for each student. Our Academic Year Program in the United States caters to international students aged 14 to 18, facilitating their travel and study experience for one semester or a full school year while residing with a U.S. host family. F-1 students opting for U.S. boarding schools undergo a rigorous application process, including teacher recommendations, proficiency tests, transcript assessments, and autobiographical essays. Preceding acceptance, students and parents undergo interviews, followed by participation in a GH USA pre-departure orientation and receipt of the official GH USA Student Handbook. This comprehensive orientation, held in late spring or early summer, addresses crucial aspects such as American culture, English language proficiency, program rules, navigating culture shock, social media norms, and optimizing the U.S. high school experience.
