Global Vineyard Importers operates as a national wine importer focused on distributing appellation-based wines from South America, with an emphasis on partnering with family-owned and estate-based wineries. Based in Berkeley, California, the company serves a broad U.S. market across more than 40 states, providing access to distinctive wines sourced primarily from Chile, Argentina, and Uruguay. The business model centers on representing small to mid-sized producers and delivering wines that reflect their origin and production approach, catering to buyers seeking artisanal, estate-driven offerings within the beverage manufacturing industry. The organization appears to maintain a small operational footprint with a minimal on-site workforce while maintaining nationwide distribution. A recent development note is that the company maintains an active presence through its website, which facilitates information and contact for its portfolio.
