GOED, the Global Organization for EPA and DHA Omega-3s, represents the worldwide EPA and DHA omega-3 industry, with a mission to increase consumption of EPA and DHA omega-3s around the world. The membership is built on a quality standard unparalleled in the market and members must comply with quality and ethics guidelines that ensure members produce quality products that consumers can trust. Our 160+ members represent the entire supply chain of EPA and DHA omega-3s, from fisheries and crude oil suppliers to refiners, concentrators and finished product brands.

GOED’s activities include:
- Advocacy on behalf of our members with governments and NGO’s around the world
- Monitoring and furthering EPA and DHA science
- Understanding and disseminating information to members about issues of importance to the omega-3 industry
- Curating details and making recommendations on production specifications and omega-3 oil quality parameters
- Promoting growth in the category by educating consumers and healthcare practitioners
- Supporting our global membership base with networking opportunities and introductions
- Interacting with the natural products industry at global trade shows and conferences to continue to strengthen GOED’s role as an expert in the omega-3 industry
