The company was established in Indonesia in 2010 as a call centre, focused on courier and motorcycle ride-hailing services, before launching its app in January 2015. Since then, Gojek has grown to become a leading on-demand platform, servicing customers in Indonesia and Singapore. Gojek is part of the GoTo Group, the largest digital ecosystem in Indonesia, consisting of Gojek and GoTo Financial. The Group comprises over 3.1 million driver partners as well as 20.1 million merchants and sellers as of December 31, 2023.
