When we started Golan’s Moving and Storage in 1990, we had one truck, four movers and a good friend running the office. We focused on making moving easy for our customers. Before we knew it, we had customers referring friends and family members to us. We started moving folks beyond Chicago and the suburbs, to lake homes in Wisconsin and Michigan, new opportunities in other cities, and, finally, internationally. We have many customers we’ve moved three, four and five times, from cramped studio apartments in the city to spacious homes for their growing families. We’ve moved businesses from one-room offices through a succession of spaces to entire floors of downtown skyscrapers. Our growth was organic. We grew as our customer base grew. More trucks, more services, more highly-trained Golan’s movers and staff. But our commitment to making moving easy for our customers has never changed. Who said moving isn’t easy?
