The Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre (GCCEC) is an events services facility located on the Gold Coast Highway in Broadbeach, Queensland, Australia. It officially opened on 29 June 2004 following an AUD 167 million investment and is described as Australia’s largest regional convention centre, with capacity for between 10 and 6000 attendees. The venue comprises arenas, exhibition halls, and meeting rooms designed to support corporate and association conferences, incentives, banquets, exhibitions, concerts, sporting events, and other gatherings. On-site catering, in-house audio-visual services, marketing and public relations support, and professional event management are among its service offerings, supported by comprehensive wireless IT infrastructure across the venue. The organisation employs between 51 and 200 people and reports annual revenue in the range of 10 to 25 million dollars; it has received several industry recognitions in 2025 and 2026, including a Silver award at the Queensland Tourism Awards and a bid success to host the 19th Asia-Pacific Vitreo-retina Society Congress in 2026.
