Golden Minerals Company is a gold & silver mining company based in Golden, Colorado.  Our stock is dual listed, trading on the NYSE American and the Toronto Stock Exchange under the symbol AUMN. The Company transitioned from exploration firm to producer in January 2021 when it began gold-silver production at the Rodeo open-pit project in Durango State, Mexico. The company is also in the final stages of bulk sampling work related to its Velardeña Properties, where it intends to begin production potentially in 2022 or 2023 utilizing Finnish firm Outotec's patented bio-oxidation technology for the processing of pyrite concentrates for gold recovery. This BIOX technology is expected to provide superior gold recovery rates that will in turn result in operations with enhanced profitability. (Note: a formal development decision has not yet been made regarding a potential restart of the Velardeña mines.)
