Based in el Cerrito, California, the organization emphasizes experiential, language-immersive preschool and after-school programming in Persian, alongside an academically rigorous, project-based elementary curriculum with a global perspective. In addition to direct educational offerings, Golestan administers The Colab, a pro-bono consultancy that partners with local and global educators and community organizations to design learning environments aligned with children’s needs. The company targets families, children, and educators seeking environments that are grounded in the natural world, promote diversity, and foster thoughtful, courageous learners who can steward the earth for future generations. With a team size described in general terms and a focus on collaborative and community-oriented approaches, Golestan Education positions itself as a multiservice provider within the broader education landscape. A recent development includes the continued operation and expansion of its integrated, experience-based programs and collaborative initiatives through its Colab platform.
