Goodwill Industries of South Texas, Inc. is more than a store! 

The mission of Goodwill is to create life-changing opportunities for people with disabilities or barriers to employment.  The mission is accomplished by putting people to work either by assisting with job placement training or creating employment within one or more of Goodwill’s entrepreneurial pursuits.

Goodwill’s business model is designed to be sustainable by creating revenue generating business lines that not only create jobs for people served, but also provide a contribution to the bottom line.  Today, Goodwill’s model is organized around three major divisions which are:

•Mission Services- focuses on providing the training and support individuals need to gain and maintain employment
•Donated Goods  - collects and processes donated items at stores and donation stations
•Business Services - creates employment opportunities for people by contracting with local businesses or government to provide services such as: Document Destruction, Pallet Manufacturing, Staffing Services and Custodial and Groundskeeping Services.
