Goodwood Museum & Gardens is a historic estate in Tallahassee, Florida, featuring a Main House dating to roughly 170 years ago, along with gardens, thirteen outbuildings, a roller rink, and a reflecting pool across sixteen acres. The site operates as a museum and historic site and also serves as an event venue, attracting both local residents and visitors. The estate traces its origins to the 1830s as a cotton and corn plantation, later transitioning to a private residence after the Civil War and undergoing major renovations in 1911, with further enhancements in the late 1920s. Today it is restored to a turn-of-the-century Country Estate era, preserving its 19th-century history. It operates within the museums, historical sites, and zoos industry.
