Gourmet Egypt has served demanding Foodies since 2006. Starting with only a handful of imported ingredients intended for Cairo’s 5 star hotels, Gourmet went on to open its first flagship store in 2008 with a portfolio of the finest imported ingredients. 

Following 2 revolutions, restrictions on currency and imports, Gourmet quickly reinvented itself to survive the new realities. Through the acquisition of two production facilities and the efforts of a passionate and talented team, Gourmet developed a portfolio of “Handcrafted by Gourmet” products that customers have fallen in love with, and that are made from the finest imported and local ingredients. 

The recipes and production methods for the “Handcrafted by Gourmet” range have been developed by a combination of our internal culinary talent and that of renowned visiting celebrity chefs – always using the finest local and imported ingredients.

Always looking to best serve our customers, Gourmet has invested in developing its state-of-the-art e-commerce platform that includes our webstore, mobile app and shopable recipes.
