Governors Gun Club made National news in 2012 while pioneering the concept of a country club for the shooting sport.  Governors created the label of "Guntry Club" and continue to pioneer and define the concept. 

In 2017 Governors took the concept to a new level with a new facility in Kennesaw, Georgia offering the Nation's first indoor trap and skeet field. The new facility is over 87,500 sq.ft. and over 5 stories tall.  Beyond the large retail area the facility has 32 rifle rated lanes, 3 archery fields, a 100 yard high power rifle range, situational firearm training simulator, member lockers, wine lockers, and a large event venue.  The event area features a restaurant that seats 300 people and is served by a full service bar.  A second full service bar is adjacent to a partially covered roof top patio and lounge area.  Governors expects to announce future plans and new facilities as they begin to expand in to several new markets in 2018.
