Grand Center Arts Academy is a charter school in the education sector serving middle and high school students in the St. Louis region. Located in the Grand Center arts district of St. Louis, Missouri, the school provides training in music, theater, visual art and dance alongside a rigorous academic program. Opened in August 2010, it operates as a tuition-free public school serving residents of the city and eligible St. Louis County students under the voluntary transfer program, with an initial intake of 225 students in grades 6 and 7 and plans to reach grades 6–12 and about 750 students by 2015. The academy emphasizes interdisciplinary instruction across the arts to support students who pursue creative and performing arts within a broad academic framework. In March 2020, the school was recognized with a Teachers of the Year honor. It was established as the first arts-focused public school in the St. Louis region.
