The Grand Rapids Art Museum, founded in 1910 as the Grand Rapids Art Association, is a cultural institution based in downtown Grand Rapids, Michigan. It is internationally recognized for its distinctive architecture and for holding a LEED Gold-certified building. The museum’s collection includes more than 6,000 works, with American and European paintings and sculptures from the 19th and 20th centuries, and over 3,000 works on paper. Reflecting the city’s design heritage, GRAM has developed a growing collection in design and modern craft. GRAM serves a broad audience of visitors and art enthusiasts by presenting exhibitions and related programs. In 2025, the museum participated in ArtPrize 2025, showcasing work by two Michigan-based artists.
