Gratiot-Isabella RESD is a regional education service district in central Michigan that provides regional support to local school entities. Founded in 1962 as one of Michigan’s 56 ISDs/RESAs, it serves nine K-12 public districts, one public school academy, and eight private or parochial schools across Gratiot and Isabella Counties. The district acts as a conduit between local districts and the Michigan Department of Education and maintains ties with business, industry, and government in the Central Michigan region. It also offers educational services to non-school populations and employment services for employers, workers, and the unemployed. The organization is based in Ithaca, Michigan.
