Gravois Planing Mill is a full-service manufacturer of millwork, cabinetry and wood products for residential and commercial applications.  

Powell Hall.  The Sheldon Concert Hall and Galleries.  Missouri Athletic Club.  the Ritz-Carlton.  Gravois Planing Mill has touched them all - and countless other cherished cultural institutions and fine homes in St. Louis and beyond.  

Since 1901, Gravois Planing Mill's iconic facade has anchored the corner of Minnesota Ave and Juniata Street.  But the mill itself has been furnishing landmarks and residences throughout the region for even longer, beginning in 1893 - a full year before Saint Louis Union Station would welcome its first visitors from around the country.  

Through the years, the craftsmen of Gravois Planing Mill have earned their reputation as masters of fine historic woodwork with a project list that includes Washington University, the Saint Louis Art Museum, the Missouri Botanical Gardens, and the homes of influential civic leaders like the former President of the New York Stock Exchange, among others.

Today, Gravois Planing Mill retains the spirit and space it has occupied for decades, and continues to restore historic landmarks while crafting new ones.
