Since 1991, Great Lakes Surgical Associates has provided residents of Lockport, Niagara County and surrounding areas, and the surrounding areas with competent, state-of-the-art surgical services, including varicose vein removal, spider vein removal, and colonoscopy procedures, just to name a few.  Our board certified surgeons are dedicated to providing quality care and treatment in our new location at the newly-renovated Lockport “Medical Building.”

Venous Procedures

Venous Procedures Great Lakes Surgical Associates specialize in handling vascular problems, including spider vein treatment, varicose vein treatment, and venous insufficiency treatment.  When veins enlarge and cannot return blood properly, they become varicose.  These veins are not only an unsightly cosmetic concern; they can also lead to serious health risks, such as: skin ulcers, phlebitis, or blood clots.  We can either perform a vein stripping procedure to completely remove the veins or a vein closure procedure, in which the veins are sealed off and the blood flow is redirected to healthy veins.  If you are suffering from varicose veins, don’t hesitate to schedule a consultation.  We can go over your options and discuss the risks and benefits of the procedures to determine the best course of action to treat those unsightly and potentially harmful veins.

We are also proud to offer endoscopy services both in our office surgery suite and at the hospital.  Endoscopic procedures allow us to see inside an organ or body cavity without a large incision for the purposes of diagnosis and treatment.
